Ok, my son is in kindergarten and at work we always talk about our kids and how school is coming along. One thing that irritated me was the fact that his teacher never sent any homework home for him to work on. She sent home progress notes saying his reading needed to be improved but if he doesn't know the basics of the words how can he even begin to read?
Anyways, after this week my son will have books sent home to read and have tests on the main 25 core words for kindergarten and i couldn't be more excited for him. This can give him some sort of accomplishment. Stay tuned for updates on his progress.
